Casey Comes to Town Day 2

Reason 101 why she is my BFF!

We hit the ground running and headed over to my favorite breakfast place on island: Cinnamons.

My friend Kerri joined us and we had an epic feast consisting of red velvet pancakes, cinnamon rolls, French toast, eggs, hash browns and bacon!

Bible. These will change your life.

Fueled up for the day, Casey and I picked up our Kayaks and made our way out to flat island, a sea bird sanctuary. The views are breath taking.

As we were paddling back into shore a sea turtle paid us a visit and swam underneath us!

With a pretty good work out under our belts, we spend the rest of the day lounging on my favorite beach: Lanikai. Ironically, right before we left the house my friend was indulging in her daily routine, aka watching Good Morning America, when they announced that Lanikai Beach was ranked by viewers as the most beautiful place in America!

After a fab beach day, we headed home to shower and venture downtown to watch the Friday Fireworks show and have a cocktail.

We made it in the nick of time and caught a pretty sweet specitcle. After we finished our Lava Flows at the Hale Koa’s Barefoot Bar, we walked around and explore the Hilton Hawaiian Village. This resort is huge! We saw some Koi fish, flamingos and even penguins!

I really wanted an ice cream from Lapperts, but the line was around the corner and Casey still wasn’t adjusted to the six-hour time difference (read she had super tired eyes!).
