Out of the kindness of their hearts, the battalion commander, and his wife, threw a luncheon to show their support for all the battalion’s volunteers.
I don’t volunteer my time because I know it looks good for Chris’s career (or to be recognized), I do it because I truly like helping out and feeling like part of a team. For me volunteering is fun! Plus many hands make for light work and more fun!
